The term “recession” has been on everyone’s minds in the U.S. lately. HOW magazine picks up on this in their August issue, giving design:related and linked in a mention for their value in professional networking capabilities. Julie Sims (The Creative Group) goes into detail sharing some good tips on how to make the most out of your design skills during the recession.

This is such great validation on many levels… Sure, first and foremost it’s great exposure for the awesome work happening with the design related community, but also for the concept of community in general.
Thru networking for 8 years i have built a customer base big enough to support several designers… yet often my issue is finding folks to work with that meet the strenuous demands of my clients. design related has been a solid resource for locating cutting edge talent while also keeping me current (and inspired) with the latest in design.
